Advanced Behavioral Health Counseling

Specializing in Group, Individual, Coaching and Marital Therapy

About Me

I have been in private practice for 20 years.  I have a thriving practice largely due to my ability to connect and provide a solution focused approach to counseling.  I am a compassionate, empathic and an active participant with my clients.  I am honored to work with clients and help them experience personal growth, resolve issues and delve into their inner world.  I believe depression, anxiety, obsessiveness, anger, feelings of abandonment, relationship issues and inadequacy are all at the root of something called incongruence, meaning that we are not living the life we were intended, that something stands in our way from being truly at peace with ourselves  It is from this premise that guides my work with clients, helping them find their path's in life.

As a therapist, I work from many theoretical orientations based on the needs of the client.  I have been fortunate to have trained thoroughly with individuals, families, couples and businesses.  I am certified in handling trauma issues and continue to work across the country educating and conducting debriefings to help people cope with life changing events.  I was called out to New York during 911, Katrina and local companies during crises.  I have written articles on mental health and provided presentations on communication, teen challenges, boundaries and divorce.

As a therapist it is important to continue learning and evolving to help my clients with their journey.  The following will be continuously updated to provide you with my recent certifications.
